There is currently a coordinated research program being
conducted by SPDG Naturol, Clemson
University, Coastal Carolina University and IET
to evaluate the properties of essential oils
extracted by the SPDG Naturol process. Oils
received from SPDG Naturol are cataloged by IET
and distributed to Coastal Carolina University
and Clemson University for assay. Data collected
from the assay includes: source of extract,
solvent used, yield, bulk density, potential
use, concentration of effective compounds,
storage life, expected shelf life, pH and
solubility.
